barbies(unless the parents have sumthing against barbies…i know a lot do nowadays) or polly pockets- they’re these small dolls that come w/ stretchy clothes(my 5 yr old cousin loves these) or maybe ballet slippers or a dress up outfit..
Depends how you relate to them. If you are the aunt or uncle, then you gotta get the best gift out of the other aunts and uncles! A cool Doll or easy to play video game, or even a cool dvd. My neice got this dance dvd that she had to learn all of the dances to. It got old for us adults, but she had a blast! …and my mom won the coolest grandparent/aunt/uncle award this year because of it!!! (just means I have to step up my game for next year!)
Leappad makes a new leappad for toddlers, its an educational toy, that is also a game. It teaches math, and english, and has fun games for the kids to play! I think it even comes in pink, and you can get more books for them too!! My brother played with one when he was 5, hes 8 now and can tell you all the presidents names, states and capitals. I cant even do that and im 20!!!
Not all 4 yo like Barbie, Dora and that kind of things.
Leappads and alikes are wayyy too advance for some 4 yo’s.
You don’t have to get the most expensive thing out there either! Kids LOVE to get stuff anytime of the year.
If you got to Walmart they have this section of fairly cheap toys called Kid Connections. They have things like : Cooking Sets, Dollhouses (the whole kit, with dolls, funry, accessories), Farm animals (the whole kit)(with barn), dress up packages (shoes, jewelry, outfit).
It really is amazing my son is 6 and he LOVES the boy things that they have. And because they are so cheap I can buy a few at a time.
Anyway – these are things that I have bought my 4 yo nieces for Christmas and I never see them playing with anything else in their toy boxes. (wink)
If you don’t like Wal-mart try online for Kid Connection toys. Im not sure if its only wally world that sells them or not.
The Leapster System is a wonderful gift, or the LeapPad with books, any barbies, puzzles, dress up clothes, anything princess, or age appropriate board games (like Candyland, Cooties, Don’t Spill the Beans, Chutes and Ladders etc).
Good luck!!
maybe you can get her one of those leapster book things they’re educational and fun and it will help her learn how to work electronics at an early age like learning how to against the volume and work a pointer and things like that ya know
